Rev. Dr. Loretta Faye Baker is an author, minister, educator, and grief care specialist. She earned a Master of Divinity in Theology and a Doctor of Ministry in Black Church Leadership. Her life’s work is dedicated to helping individuals, churches, and communities experience healing, restoration, and renewed purpose through biblically grounded teaching.
Dr. Baker integrates biblical knowledge with her understanding of grief to teach self-care and encourage care for one another. She has developed Bible studies and women’s ministry teaching series that help participants discover how God works in the lives of biblical women and how those truths intersect with modern life. Her teaching combines spiritual depth, emotional insight, practical application, and compassionate encouragement, equipping people to strengthen their faith, heal from loss, deepen spiritual resilience, and live with greater purpose and hope.
